Katie 
Springer

My name is Katie Springer. I hold a BA in Drama and Theatre Arts from Athens State University and am currently pursuing an MFA in Theatre Education at Mississippi University for Women. My passion for theatre extends beyond performance—I am dedicated to inspiring the next generation of artists through both education and community engagement.

My experience spans acting, directing, and technical theatre. On stage, I have performed in Legally Blonde (Elle Woods), Heathers: The Musical (Heather McNamara), Little Women (Amy), and Tick, Tick… Boom! (Karessa) just to name a few. As a director, I have led productions of 21 Chump Street, Our Town, Grease, and Junie B. Jones Jr at both the college and high school levels and community theatre. I also bring hands-on experience in stage management, costuming, and production design.

My goal is to continue making a positive impact in theatre—both on and off stage—by nurturing young artists and contributing to the vibrant performing arts community.
